Our History

SHS opens two-day programs (North Hollywood & Inglewood). First agency to provide services for clients with a dual diagnosis, which is a combination of having a developmental disorder (i.e. autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy) and a psychiatric disorder (i.e. schizophrenia, depression, anxiety).

SHS opens 3rd day program in Panorama City.

SHS opens group home in Encino. Housing 4 VISTAS consumers.

Inglewood program moves to new site due to a fire and becomes Vistas Hawthorne.

Panorama relocates to Granada Hills site.

North Hollywood relocates to a new site — Vineland and Victory.

Granada Hills switches to 100% community based program.

SHS, due to COVID closes the doors to in-person services and implements remote services and home visits to continue providing behavioral support safely.

Patrick and Yaniv take over as agency leaders.

SHS reopens facility doors using a hybrid of in-person and remote services.

SHS successfully devises and implements services to meet all requirements of Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS).

SHS purchases first commercial property in North Hollywood with plans to house Agency Corp. Office and North Hollywood day program.

Agency leaders begin zoning process for commercial property.

Rezoning of the new commercial property completed.
